JAFIE held the Symposium on CEZA Investment

On December 8,2017, Jiangsu Association for Friendship and International Exchanges (JAFIE)held the Symposium on Investment in Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) atthe meeting room of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’sCongress. Teng Yong, Executive Vice Chairman of JAFIE, presided over thesymposium. Lin Xiangguo, Chairman of JAFIE, met with the CEZA delegation led byRaul L. Lambino, Chief Administrative Officer (at the ministerial level, VicePresident in charge of international affairs of the Philippine ruling party),at the Foreign Affairs Reception Office of the Standing Committee of theProvincial People’s Congress. During the symposium, Dr. Alex Fu Kong Sang,Chief Advisor to the Chief Executive of CEZA, USecRaymundo Roquero, DeputyAdministrator (at the vice-ministerial level), Rodrigo CudanesPablo, ChiefFinancial Officer, Emmanuel Albano, Chief Telecommunications Officer, tradeconsultants and agricultural officers etc. explained major investment projectsin airports, ports, communications, electric power, water conservancy, roads,tourist facilities, industrial parks, logistics and other fields as well as aseries of preferential policies for attracting foreign investment, and alsoanswered questions proposed by the experts and representatives of entrepreneurspresent in the symposium.

More than 50people attended the symposium, including leaders of related departments ofJiangsu Provincial People's Congress and Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce for Import& Export Firms, representatives of partial entrepreneurs and council membersof JAFIE.
