JAFIE held the Yangtze River International Forum & 2020 Seminar on Overseas Rights Protection of Chinese Enterprises and Citizens (North America Special)

On August 29, 2020, Yangtze River International Forum & 2020 Video Seminar on Overseas Risks Management of Chinese Enterprises and Citizens (North America Special), hosted by Jiangsu Association for Friendship and International Exchanges (JAFIE), and co-sponsored by Jiangsu Chamber of International Commerce, Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Firms, Jiangsu Economic News of Xinhua Daily Media Group and Shine Consultant, was held at the meeting room of JAFIE Center. Janet Kim, partner of Baker McKenzie at Washington Office, Alexandre Lamy, member of the International Trade Department of the said Washington Office, Chris Torrens, partner of ControlRisks, Sydney Zhao, business leader of STARR in Jiangsu, and Badrinath Rao, Associate Professor of the Social and Asian Studies Center of Kettering University and the practicing lawyer, were invited to deliver keynote speeches at the forum. Teng Yong, Executive Vice Chairman of JAFIE, presided over the seminar and Lin Xiangguo, Chairman of JAFIE, attended the seminar and delivered a speech. A total of over 1,500 participants were present at the seminar.
