The delegation of former Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev of Kyrgyzstan visits JAFIE

On September 13th, 2023, the delegation of Mr. Djoomart Otorbaev, former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Prof. Hu Biliang, Dean of the Belt and Road School of Beijing Normal University, Mr. Wang Changyu and Dr. Chen Yongmei from Hong Kong Salon Cultural Group, and Mr. Adam Turnbull, Founding President of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Canada Chamber of Commerce, visited JAFIE. Mr. Lin Xiangguo, President of JAFIE, warmly welcomed the visiting guests and engaged in deep and friendly discussions. Executive Vice President Teng Yong and other JAFIE leaders participated in the meeting.

President Lin introduced Jiangsu’s geography, economy, and cultural aspects in detail, as well as the objectives and primary activities of JAFIE. He expressed that JAFIE serves as a platform for building friendship and is committed to fostering exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu and countries and regions around the world. He hoped that both parties could engage in deep collaboration across multiple sectors, establish long-term and stable cooperative relationships, and work together to enhance the well-being of their respective people. Furthermore, President Lin offered full affirmation and support for the envisioned establishment of the Emerging Economies Research Institute (EERI) in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

Mr. Otorbaev expressed his heartfelt gratitude for JAFIE’s warm reception and highly praised Jiangsu's remarkable achievements in economic and social development. He also extended his thanks to JAFIE for its strong support for the EERI project and looked forward to strengthening cooperation with JAFIE in the future. He expressed his eagerness to actively contribute to the well-being of both parties’ people through this collaboration.
