The delegation of the Thailand Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of Chairman Zheng Miaojin visits JAFIE

On May 15, the Thailand Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Chamber of Commerce under the delegation of Chairman Zheng Miaojin, along with Prof. Li Dexing, Honorary Chairman and Special Advisor to the Vice President of the Thai Senate, Chief Supervisor Zhou Li, Executive Vice Chairman Chen Le, Vice Chairman Li Zhirong, Overseas Vice Secretary-General Yuan Guanghua, as well as representatives from the Preparatory Office of Jiangsu Representative Office Dan Lihai and Hu Huaqi, visited JAFIE. Executive Vice President Teng Yong, on behalf of JAFIE, warmly welcomed Chairman Zheng Miaojin and his delegation, and engaged in fruitful exchanges. Some resident leaders and directors of JAFIE, as well as Lyu Jing, Director of Cultural Exchange Department of Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, participated in this exchange.

Vice President Teng Yong introduced the general overview of Jiangsu’s history, culture, and economy, as well as JAFIE. He emphasized the association’s special focus on fostering international friendship and expanding connections globally. Since its establishment, the association has organized a series of friendly exchange activitiesto serve Jiangsu’s openness to the world and economic development. Vice President Teng expressed the hope for multi-sectoral and multi-level cooperation with the Thailand Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, aiming to jointly promote economic and trade exchanges, cultural exchanges, and cooperation between Jiangsu and Thailand.

Chairman Zheng Miaojin of the Thailand Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Chamber of Commerce introduced the basic situation of Thailand and the chamber. He expressed his hope to strengthen the connection and cooperation with JAFIE, aiming to facilitate cultural exchanges, business investments, and trade between China and Thailand.
