The Delegation of Gambia Ambassador to China Visits JAFIE

On October 28th,2024, a delegation led by Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Gambia Ambassador to China,Aixinjueluo Yuhao, Chairman of the Economic and Trade Cooperation Organizationof West Africa and the Ambassador-at-Large for Southeast Asia, and RaoRenchang, Chairman of Australia Renhe Biology Co., Ltd., visited JAFIE.

Teng Yong,Executive Vice President of JAFIE, extended a warm welcome to AmbassadorMasanneh Nyuku Kinteh and his delegation. He introduced Jiangsu's economic andsocial development, as well as its cultural and educational landscape,highlighting the profound and time-honored friendship between China and Africa.JAFIE has been dedicated to fostering friendly exchanges and cooperationbetween Jiangsu and African countries, organizing numerous events such as theJiangsu-Southern Africa Investment and Development High-Level Forum, theYangtze River International Forum: "One Belt, One Road" SeriesSummit, and the "One Belt, One Road" Strategy and IntersectionHigh-Level Forum. He expressed the hope that through this exchange, mutualunderstanding and friendship between the two regions can be further deepened,and cooperation can be promoted.

AmbassadorMasanneh Nyuku Kinteh of the Gambia to China expressed that during theimportant occasion of the 70thanniversary of the founding of thePeople’s Republic of China, President Xi Jinping mentioned that China’s twomost significant achievements were long-term stability and rapid economicdevelopment. Through President Teng’s introduction, he naturally associated thesituation in Jiangsu and Nanjing with these two great achievements mentioned byPresident Xi. He believed that the economic achievements of Jiangsu and Nanjingwere closely related to the open foreign investment environment and theharmonious coexistence between humans and nature. He perceived that PresidentXi's governance philosophy and guidelines were truly being practiced in real society,especially the key messages from the recent important cooperation conferencebetween China and Africa. With the support of JAFIE, Jiangsu and Gambia havealready generated cooperation projects, which is the reason for his visit toJAFIE. He hoped to establish a friendly relationship with JAFIE to furtherpromote economic cooperation and trade exchanges between Jiangsu and Gambia.

Lyu Zhuhai,Chairman of Jiangsu Ade Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Chief Physician ofthe Neurosurgery Department at the Affiliated Brain Hospital of Nanjing MedicalUniversity; Xu Yongliang, Founding Partner of Jolmo Investment Management Co.,Ltd.; and Huang Liya, Professor of the College of Electronics and OpticalEngineering of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Dean ofthe Bell Honors School, accompanied the visiting delegation.
