JAFIE holds a President’s Office Meeting

On the morning of March 24^th, the Jiangsu Association for Friendship and International Exchanges(JAFIE)held a president’s office meeting. The meeting was presided over byPresidentQu Futian, with Shao Weiming,ExecutiveVicePresident, andVicePresidents Si Jinquan, Jiang Jinbing, Yang Guishan, Che Jie, etc., Secretary-General Wang Jian,Supervisor Gong Xumin, andExecutiveDirector Zhang Hong, etc. attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the key work priorities of JAFIE for the year 2025 and theRegulations on the President’s Office Meeting of the Jiangsu Association for Friendship and International Exchanges. It also reviewed and approved the list of candidates for President Assistant, Deputy Secretary-General, and Overseas Directors proposed by the Secretariat.

President Qu Futian emphasized that the work of JAFIE should be strategically positioned at a high level while ensuring practical implementation. He urged a deep understanding of Xi Jinping’sThoughts on Diplomacy and a commitment to serving the national diplomatic agenda, supporting foreign exchanges for the JiangsuProvincial People’s Congress, and contributing to theprovince’s overall economic and social development. He called for exploring diverse channels and making extensive friendsto play the role of a bridge and link actively. He encouraged everyone to maintain a positive work attitude, speak out freely, work together, and actively offer suggestions for the development of JAFIE. He also emphasized the importance of collective contributions to ensure a strong start for theassociation’s work in 2025.
