The delegation of Mr. Seiji Nakamura, Vice President of the Japan-China Friendship Association of Fukuoka Prefecture, visits JAFIE

On April 27, Seiji Nakamura, Vice President of the Japan-China Friendship Association of Fukuoka Prefecture; Hiroshi Harada, Member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and President of the Kitakyushu Japan-China Friendship Association; and Kazuki Nakamura, Member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, visited JAFIE. Guo Minwen, Executive Council Member and Party Branch Secretary, warmly received the delegation on behalf of JAFIE.

Guo Minwen recalled the fruitful collaboration with Mr. Seiji Nakamura during his tenure at the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress. Together, they successfully promoted several joint projects that strengthened the friendly relationship between Jiangsu Province and Fukuoka Prefecture. These efforts have led to significant achievements in economic and trade exchanges, cultural interaction, and educational cooperation, havingnot only deepened the friendship between the two regions but also laid a solid foundation for future development. Guo further expressed his hope that Mr. Nakamura’s visit to JAFIE would enhance the collaboration between the Association and various sectors in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Mr. Nakamura fully agreed and remarked that he has always cherished the friendship with his old friends in Jiangsu—an enduring bond that has stood the test of time and distance. He emphasized the importance of carrying this friendship forward and noted that every visit to Jiangsu would reaffirm the region’s vibrant growth and energy. He pledged to continue actively promoting practical cooperation between the two sides in a wider range of fields, contributing further to deepening the friendly relationship between Jiangsu and Fukuoka.

Guo Minwen presented gifts to Mr. Seiji Nakamura and his delegation as a gesture of goodwill and warm wishes to their friends from Fukuoka.

Zhang Hong, Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and President Assistant of JAFIE, as well as Wang Jian, Secretary-General of the Association, accompanied the reception.
