JAFIE convenes the Executive Council Meeting

On May 30, entrusted by President Qu Futian, Executive Vice President Shao Weiming presided over the second executive council meeting of the thirdcouncilterm ofJAFIE. The meeting was attended by Vice Presidents Si Jinquan, Jiang Jinbing, and Che Jie; Secretary-General Wang Jian; Supervisor Gong Xumin; Party Branch Secretary Guo Minwen; PresidentAssistantZhang Hong, among others.

The meeting heard a work report covering activitiescarried outfrom March to April. Meeting members reviewed and approved several key items including theDecision-Making System for Major Issues (“Three Major and OneImportant Issues”) of the Executive Council of the Association, a Memorandum of Understanding onCooperation betweenJAFIE and the Great South West Alliance of the United Kingdom, and the establishment of the International Young Scientists Academic Exchange Sub-Committee.They also reviewed and approved the name list of two overseas council members nominated by the Secretariat in the meeting.
