The Delegation from the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Mexico Visits JAFIE

On July 21, Shao Weiming, Executive Vice President of JAFIE,welcomed the delegation led byZhao Zhun, President of the Jiangsu Chamber of CommerceinMexico and Overseas Director ofJAFIE.

Shao Weiming introducedthe status quo of JAFIEand expressed his gratitude to President Zhao for his years of cooperation withJiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and other government departments in visiting Mexico. He highly praised Zhao’s achievements as a community leader and his role as a bridge and link in Mexico. Shao emphasized thatJAFIE aims to make friends and foster high-quality people-to-people exchanges. By gathering foreign friends and elites from various fields, the association strives to strengthen multi-dimensional interactions, eliminate cognitive biases, enhance development consensus, build friendships, and promote cooperation. He expressedhishope that President Zhao would further strengthen exchanges with Mexico, enhance mutual understanding, and promote economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu Province and Mexico.

Zhao Zhun shared his experience of developing business in Mexico, emphasizing that his success was driven by the principle of making friends widely, which provided him with numerous development opportunities and resources. He particularly highlighted key issues that Chinese companies should pay attention to when investing in Mexico, such as legal compliance and risk mitigation etc.. He expressed his commitment to leveraging his resources and experience to strengthen the connection and exchange between the Mexican government and the public with JAFIE, and to actively support Jiangsu enterprises in expanding into the Mexican market, contributing to the promotion of economic and trade cooperation between the two regions.

Supervisor Gong Xumin, Secretary-General Wang Jian ofJAFIE, and Executive Vice President Jin Ling of the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Mexico also participated in the exchange.
