Exchange Visit of Si Jinquan at Jiangsu Phoenix Publishing and Media Group

On January 23, Vice President Si Jinquan visitedJiangsu Phoenix Publishing and Media Group for an exchange and research visit.Li Zhenqiang, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of thegroup, warmly received the delegation.

The delegation visited the achievement exhibitionhall of Jiangsu Phoenix Publishing & Media Group to gain a comprehensiveunderstanding of the Group’s remarkable accomplishments in its core publishingbusiness, integrated development, international communication, and brandbuilding. Following the visit, a seminar was held focusing on themes such aspromoting Chinese culture through “going global and bringing in” initiativesand strengthening international people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

Si Jinquanprovided an overview of JAFIE. He stated that Jiangsu Phoenix Publishing &Media Group, as a pacesetter on the cultural front in Jiangsu, is characterizedby a solid foundation, a broad vision, and robust innovation. It holds a veryimportant position and wields significant influence within the nationalindustry, having long made important contributions to promoting culturalprosperity and development. Now, standing in a new era and facing newchallenges, the Group will surely seize new opportunities and create newbrilliance. JAFIE is willing to strengthen cooperation with Jiangsu PhoenixPublishing & Media Group to jointly build cultural exchange platforms,share cultural exchange resources, and promote international culturalcommunication.

Li Zhenqiang expressed that Jiangsu PhoenixPublishing & Media Group places great emphasis on international culturalexchange, cooperation, and communication, with fruitful results in relatedfields. The recent successful hosting of the art exhibition for Liang Qing, anoverseas council member of JAFIE, and the subsequent plan to collaborate withLiang Qing on publishing related books, will serve as an opportunity to enhancecooperation with JAFIE. The goal is to further enrich cooperation resources inthe international cultural field, expand channels for the internationaldissemination of Chinese culture, vividly tell the beautiful stories ofJiangsu, effectively communicate the compelling voices of China, and jointlyenhance the international influence of Jiangsu’s culture.

Relevant personnel from JAFIE participated in thevisit. Responsible representatives from various units under Jiangsu PhoenixPublishing & Media Group, including the Fine Arts Publishing House, theInternational Development Department, the Literature and Art Publishing House,and Modern Express, were also present for the exchanges.
